Oh hello! Running around in a crazy busy schedule lately, but I managed to get some sewing in there as well! I wished I had more time for sewing. So many ideas and so little time! Oh well, what can you do right? I'll have to do the best with what I have I guess!
So spring wardrobe sewing has begun. First up, the Darling Ranges dress from Megan Nielsen. I love this dress! I had the pattern for a really long time, but for some strange reason I never made a dress out of it until know! As with all Megan's patterns, this is a really well drafted pattern. The instructions are really clear and easy to follow and the size range works well. For this dress I cut a size S for the bust and a size M for the waist and hips. I shortened the hem, used 8 small buttons and didn't add elastic at the sleeve hems as suggested, simply because I don't feel comfortable with it.
Overall I'm really satisfied with the result. Perfect spring dress!
So, how is your spring wardrobe sewing going?
